Email Notifications

Now you can receive email notifications whenever someone leaves a note on your profile or replies to a comment you've posted. All existing community members have been grandfathered in. If you don't want to receive these email notifications, you can now change your notification settings under "Account Settings" on your profile page. You'll find three new options under "Contact Settings":

• Receive IndieBound.org Updates & News - Receive email notifications when major updates to the IndieBound.org site are released. We don't send these emails out much—once a month, at most.
• Receive Friend Notifications - Receive an email notification when a user adds you as a friend.
• Receive Comment Notifications - Receive an email notification when a user leaves you a note, or replies to a comment you've made.

User Search

Another much-requested feature which I'm currently at work on is a user search feature. Of course, you can already find users by clicking on city/state links, on interest tags, or as fans of stores/friends of other users, but I will be making a centralized search for everything User. Stay tuned...this one should be available soon.
