Octave Mirbeau, ne le 16 fevrier 1848 a Trevieres et mort le 16 fevrier 1917 a Paris, est un ecrivain, critique d'art et journaliste francais.

Alfred de Musset (1810-1857) was a French poet, playwright, and novelist. He was born in Paris to a well-to-do family and turned to writing after first studying to be a doctor. Influenced by Lord Byron and Shakespeare, he fraternized with many great French writers such as Victor Hugo. He died in 1857 of a heart malfunction.

John baxter's books include biographies of Federico Fellini, Luis BuNuel, Woody Allen, Stanley Kubrick, and Robert De Niro, and the memoir "We'll Always Have Paris: Sex and Love in the City of Light". Born in Australia, he now lives in Paris.
