“What does a zingarella, an esperaldo, a gorlitza and the Entwine all have in common? They are all dances that the 12 princesses have learned from their mother, the Queen. Unfortunately, the Queen has died and dancing has been forbidden during mourning by the King. Magic leads them to a silver forest where they can keep their mother's memory alive by dancing all night unseen, except for the mysterious and handsome Keeper. Based on the Grimm's fairy tale, Dixon has created a romantic fantasy laced with humor that will have teens tying on their dancing shoes.”
-- Karen Briggs, Great Northern Books and Hobbies, Oscoda, MI

Description

Azalea is trapped. Just when she should feel that everything is before her . . . beautiful gowns, dashing suitors, balls filled with dancing . . . it's taken away. All of it.

The Keeper understands. He's trapped, too, held for centuries within the walls of the palace. And so he extends an invitation.

Every night, Azalea and her eleven sisters may step through the enchanted passage in their room to dance in his silver forest.

But there is a cost.

The Keeper likes to keep things.

Azalea may not realize how tangled she is in his web until it is too late.
