Flashback to 1990:
Faith Sibley is a young single woman leading a glamorous life in New York City. Then she meets handsome, charming Reverend Thomas Fairchild—and it's love at first sight.

Now Faith is preparing for both her wedding and a move to chilly New England. But a series of baffling mysteries is making her path to the altar rocky. What family secret is her new assistant, Francesca, hiding? Who is trying to derail Faith's sister's financial career? Why is there a body in her great-uncle's Long Island mansion? And who's determined to sabotage Faith's special day . . . by eliminating the bride?
