This is the second volume to come from great scholarly undertaking, the assembly and editing of Benjamin Franklin's complete writings and correspondence. Volume 2 covers the decade 1735-1744, when Franklin was developing his business as printer, publisher, and bookseller, beginning his service as postmaster of Philadelphia, and acquiring an interest in scientific matters.
