About the Author
Cindy Neuschwander is a third-grade teacher and the author of "Mummy Math "and the Sir Cumference series. She lives with her family in northern California.

Burns is a nationally known mathematics educator whose messages about math have reached teachers throught her many books, videotapes, talks, and extensive program of Math Solutions Courses.

While studying at The Art Institute of Boston, Liza Woodruff realized that she most wanted to illustrate children's stories. During the last 13 years, Liza has illustrated 18 children's books, including Ten on the Sled. She lives with her husband and two children in an old farmhouse in Vermont.
