Barbie McConnell is completing a B.A. in political science at Brigham Young University. She served as a full-time volunteer missionary in Quito, Ecuador, where she became fluent in Spanish. She was a guest columnist for her local newspaper in Tooele, Utah. The column was a forum on various local, national, and international issues. She has established the Olive Leaf Press, a new publishing company. Marsipity is her first title. She has two illustrators working on other projects. She actively serves and volunteers in her community.Rusty Gregory is a BYU graduate and currently resides in Orem, Utah.
