This year marks the 100th anniversary of the publication of H. G. Wells's famous novel about a Martian invasion. To celebrate, we are reissuing our adaptation of this sci-fi classic with brand-new cover art.

About the Author
H G Wells (1866-1946) was a pioneer of science fiction whose works have influenced many writers, thinkers, and world leaders. Born into a working class family, he had a staggered education. Eventually, he became an usher and taught younger children at school. Later, he studied science at the University of London. He predicted many social and scientific changes of the 20th century, like destruction by atomic bombs. Several of his works, adapted on screen, continue to fascinate modern audiences.

Evans is a freelance photographer and editor.

Wenzel has been an artist with the Walt Disney Company for almost thirty years. He has illustrated a number of children's books. He is also a gallery artist, best known for his paintings of Native Americans.
