About the Author
Cynthia Leitich Smith is the acclaimed and best-selling author of the first book in this series, Feral Nights, as well as the Tantalize quartet: Tantalize, Eternal, Blessed, and Diabolical, and the graphic novels Tantalize: Kieren s Story and Eternal: Zachary s Story, both illustrated by Ming Doyle. About Feral Curse, she says, "In small towns, everybody knows one another. That pushes secrets deeper and occasionally makes them more dangerous." Cynthia lives in Austin, Texas, with her husband, author Greg Leitich Smith.

Cornelius Van Wright has illustrated dozens of books for children, many in collaboration with his wife, illustrator Ying-Hwa Hu. He lives in New York City.

Cornelius Van Wright and Ying-Hwa Hu have illustrated many distinguished picture books, including Jewels, by Belinda Rochelle (Dutton), which was selected as a Notable Trade Book in the Field of Social Studies. The couple lives in New York City with their daughter and son.
