Jerry Dorsman is a mental health and addictions counselor who works in Maryland. His first book, "How to Quit Drinking Without AA," is a recovery bestseller, having sold more than 125,000 copies. He is also the author of "How to Quit Drugs for Good" and the contributing author of "Live Longer while Feeling Younger: A Guide to Health and Happiness as We Age."

An expert on addiction treatment and stress-management techniques, Jerry has appeared on more than 130 radio shows in the U.S. and Canada and on seven TV shows. His numerous articles on stress management, addiction treatment, and mental health topics have appeared in local newspapers and various magazines with national circulations.
