About the Author
Tony Moore - INSPIRATIONAL and ready to teach lessons learned the hard way. His new book is FREEDOM: A Daily Devotional for those in the midst of the struggles of life. Tony was incarcerated numerous times until the age of 35. A product of his environment, he struggled to live a life of purpose. One day his daughter came to visit and inquired, "Daddy, why can't you take care of me?" That set Tony on a ferocious path of renewal. Today he serves as Executive Director of Birds of a Feather in Kenosha, Wisconsin where he works with juveniles and adolescents who suffer from substance abuse and criminal behavior. In 2012, Tony Moore earned his Second Master of Science degree from Springfield College. His two Master's degrees are in the fields of Mental Health and Organization, Leadership, and Management. Tony is also licensed by the Wisconsin Department of Safety & Professional Services with credentials including Professional Counselor in Training, Independent Clinical Supervisor, and Clinical Substance Abuse Counselor. He holds certifications in Pathological Gambling and is an Expert Level-One Gang Prevention Specialist. Tony also owns and coaches a semi-professional basketball team. He is a recent NAACP award recipient in recognition of his devoted community service.
