Man Martin was awarded the Flannery O’Connor Writing Scholarship at Georgia College and then earned MFAs in graphic design and creative writing from the University of Georgia. He is currently working toward a Ph.D. in writing at Georgia State University in Atlanta. His writing and drawings have been published in McSweeney’s Online, the Kenyon Review, Atlanta Magazine, Marietta Daily Journal,and CarveOnline. From 1988 to the mid-1990s, he was creator and cartoonist for the nationally syndicated comic strip Sibling Revelry. He lives in Atlanta, Georgia.
