About the Author
Judy Cox was born in San Francisco. She is the oldest of five children and enjoyed telling stories from an early age. She is a reading teacher at a small rural school and is inspired to write children's books by her own love of good literature, by raising her son, and by teaching her students.

Amanda Haley has illustrated "When You Were a Baby." She has also done illustrations for "American Girl" magazine, "Teen, Girls Life, " Pleasant Company, C.R. Gibson, and American Greetings.
