About the Author

Elizabeth Moon is the author of many novels, including The Speed of Dark, Against the Odds, Change of Command, and Remnant Population, which was a Hugo Award finalist. After earning a degree in history from Rice University, she spent three years in the Marine Corps, then earned a degree in biology from the University of Texas, Austin. She lives in Florence, Texas. Actress Cynthia Holloway, a native of Seattle, Washington, has performed on stage, film, and television, as well as doing voice-over work. She has lent her voice to television programs, radio and television commercials, video games, and audiobooks. Cynthia's most recognizable work is as the voice of Anita Blake in Laurell K. Hamilton's bestselling vampire hunter series.
