Today's top headlines along with an insider's perspective are the key elements that make Top Producer a smart, sharp, and gripping suspense thriller that digs deep behind the dirty dealings and scams of Wall Street's elite.
Norb Vonnegut spent over two years at a money management firm in New York City, where he was a managing director responsible for equity and fixed income portfolios. He has also worked for Morgan Stanley's Private Wealth Management Division, Paine Webber, and Kidder, Peabody. He graduated magna cum laude from Harvard College and earned his MBA from Harvard Business School. Mel Foster is a former ad agency executive who used to record test tracks for commercials. An audiobook narrator since 2002, he won an Audie Award for Finding God in Unexpected Places by Philip Yancey and an AudioFile Earphones Award for the novel Match Made in Heaven by Bob Mitchell. Mel is the author of several novels, including Shaking Hands with Lefkowitz, and he hopes that one day listeners will get the opportunity to hear him reading something that he's written himself.
"Vonnegut's debut meets the gold standard for financial thrillers as it puts the frenzied, cutthroat world of Wall Street's best stockbrokers (aka the 'top producers') on brilliant display." ---Publishers Weekly Starred Review
