Description

Mr. Wolf has found an enormous turnip. Just the thing to make his favorite supperspicy turnip stew! But Mr. Wolf needs some help. The turnip is stuck fast. Can the little frog help him? Mr. Wolf’s off on another rip-roaring adventure, and, as always, there are plenty of hurdles to be overcome before he can enjoy his tasty feast. The award-winning Jan Fearnley is one of the most successful writer-illustrators of her generation, with more than 750,000 books sold worldwide. Among her other titles for children are Watch Out!, A Perfect Day for It, Just Like You, and A Special Something.

About the Author
Jan Fearnley, the youngest of six children, grew up near Newcastle, on the north coast of England. From an early age she recognized the power of books and often stayed at home to draw while the rest of the gang went out to play. Before becoming an author and illustrator, she studied graphic design and worked as a teacher, a job that provided her with much inspiration for her books, the best known of which is the internationally acclaimed Mr. Wolf's Pancakes. Jan now lives in London with her husband, Paul, and their two cats, whose hobbies include walking across wet artwork and chatting on the phone to publishers.
