The only thing certain about a journey is that it has a beginning and an end-for you never know what may happen along the way. And so it is with Breakfast with Buddha, a journey into the minds and souls of two very different men-one of them in search of the truth, the other a man who may have already found it.
Roland Merullo is the critically acclaimed author of seven books, both fiction and nonficton, including the Revere Beach trilogy, three novels about growing up in a tight-knit community outside Boston, and Golfing with God, a novel about a man's unexpected spiritual journey. Born in Boston, he graduated from Brown University, where he also earned a Master's degree in Russian Language and Literature. Roland's memoir, Revere Beach Elegy, won the 2000 Massachusetts Book Award for Non-Fiction, and his essays have appeared in The New York Times, Reader's Digest, and the Chronicle of Higher Education, among other publications. He lives with his wife and two daughters in eastern Massachusetts. Sean Runnette, a multiple AudioFile Earphones Award winner, has produced several Audie Award–winning audiobooks. He is a member of the American Repertory Theater company and has toured internationally with Mabou Mines, an avant-garde theater company. Sean's television and film appearances include Two If by Sea, Copland, Sex and the City, Law & Order, Third Watch, and lots and lots of commercials, for which he apologizes.
