Description

Operation Family Secrets is the chilling true story of how the son of the most violent mobster in Chicago made the unprecedented decision to work with the FBI and the U.S. Attorney's Office to incriminate his own father and to help bring down the last great American crime syndicate-the one-hundred-year-old Chicago outfit.

About the Author

Frank Calabrese, Jr., lived in his native Chicago for thirty-nine years. Mentored by his father and brought into the Chicago outfit at age eighteen, he now resides in Arizona with his family. Keith Zimmerman is one half of a twin-brother writing team. He and his brother, Kent Zimmerman, have contributed to or coauthored sixteen books, including A Personal Stand with Trace Adkins, the New York Times bestseller Hell's Angel with Ralph "Sonny" Barger, and Rotten with John Lydon. Born and raised on the south side of Chicago, he came by his interest in the outfit naturally. Todd McLaren was involved in radio for more than twenty years in cities on both coasts, including Philadelphia, San Francisco, and Los Angeles. He left broadcasting for a full-time career in voice-overs, where he has been heard on more than 5,000 TV and radio commercials, as well as TV promos; narrations for documentaries on such networks as A&E, Discovery, and the History Channel; and films, including Who Framed Roger Rabbit?
