About the Author
Petersen, a pilot in the U.S. Marine Corps, travels Widely. Today he lives with his lovely wife Caroline in a little cabin on a big mountain in Colorado. He enjoys reading, writing, and walking his dogs in the forest.

Ann Zwinger writes extensively about the natural history of the Southwest. She has authored over 10 books, including Downcanyon: A Naturalist Explores the Colorado River through Grand Canyon and The Nearsighted Naturalist.
