Verna Griffin is the mother of famed rap producer, Dr. Dre. She founded the program "Distinction Youth," which taught the basics of etiquette to youth, and was also involved with the Youth Motivational Task Force. She recently formed the organization WINGS (Women In Need of Guidance and Self-Esteem).
