Ferida Wolff is the author of fifteen books for young people, including "A Year for Kiko", "Watch Out for Bears!", "On Halloween Night", "Seven Loaves of Bread", "A Weed Is a Seed", and "Pink Slippers", "Bat Mitzvah Blues", a Sydney Taylor Honor Book. She lives in Cherry Hill, NJ.

Savitz co-founded the Philadelphia Children's Reading Round Table. She was nominated for the dorothy Canfield Fisher Award.

ELENA ODRIOZOLA has illustrated numerous books. Her wonderful sense of color and her innovative style have won her numerous awards and her artwork is loved around the world. She lives and works in San Sebastian, in the Basque region of Spain.
