About the Author
Selene Castrovilla is a novelist and nonfiction author. She holds an MFA in creative writing from New School University and a BA in English from New York University. She lives on Long Island with her two sons.

Jeff Crosby holds a degree in illustration as a visual essay. A freelance illustrator for the past sixteen years, Crosby has illustrated numerous children's books and has provided artwork for publications such as the New York Times, Entertainment Weekly, and GQ. He is also the illustrator of Pelican's Otis Steele and the Taileebone: A Southern Tall Tale.
