A playfully poetic book about the passage of time, Monday tells the story of three friends.

About the Author
Born in 1976 and a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Brussels, Anne Herbauts expresses an original world in each of her books. Awake to the richness of the world, endlessly curious, and rigorous in her work, Anne has written and illustrated 17 books for children, illustrated 5 others, and also has published 5 comic books for an older audience. Describing her own work she says, "I am in the words and in the images at the same time. The realm in which I really work is in the space between the two." Written in French, her books have been translated into 7 languages, including Spanish, Italian, German, Dutch, Japanese, Chinese and Korean. Her title What Do the Moon and the Night Do? won special mention at the Bologna Book Fair, and Monday (to be published by Enchanted Lion in autumn 2006) was just selected for IBBY's Honor List. Her books have been critically acclaimed wherever they've been published, and, from what we hear, are a special favorite of children and adults alike.
