A sinister cloud has appeared on the edge of the solar system, and seems to be moving closer. The closest planet, Georgium Sidus, has but two human inhabitants: the missionary Reverand Cruet and his daughter Charity. Their last communication: "Great danger imperative that "'And then nothing. PHILIP REEVE worked in a bookstore and produced and directed several plays before beginning a career as an illustrator and writer. His first novel, Mortal Engines, was shortlisted for the prestigious Whitbread Children’s prize. Philip lives outside of London, England.
DAVID WYATT’s illustrations have graced the books and covers of such authors as Terry Pratchett, Philip Pullman, Diana Wynne-Jones, and J.R.R. Tolkien. He live in Devon, England.
