She enjoys knitting, crocheting, spinning, sewing, quilting, embroidery, and cross-stitching and is a graduate of American University, the University of Oregon, and the University of Missouri-Columbia Library Science program. She is a co-author of both "One-Yard Wonders" and" Fabric-by-Fabric One-Yard Wonders."
