About the Author
Best known as the author of Rich Dad Poor Dad the #1 personal finance book of all time and a New York Times bestseller for more than six years, Robert has challenged the way millions think about money. Robert s military training began in 1965 when he received Congressional nominations to the U.S. Naval Academy at Annapolis, Maryland, and the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy at Kings Point, New York. In 1969, he graduated from Kings Point, and flew helicopter gunships in Vietnam for the U.S. Marine Corps. In 1974, he left the Marine Corps and began his career as an entrepreneur. In 1978, his products were recognized as the top new products in the sporting goods industry, featured in Runners World magazine, GQ, and even Playboy. His product line expanded into the rock and roll industry with products for rock bands like The Police, Van Halen, Duran Duran, and others. In 1984, Robert sold his business and began teaching entrepreneurship and investing throughout the world.
