Jon Lake is a freelance aviation and defence writer and journalist. Taught to fly by the University of London Air Squadron, RAF, while studying a modern history degree at Royal Holloway College, he worked for Aerospace Publishing, and was one of the founding editors of "World Air Power Journal," He subsequently compiled the Soviet and international military sections of J"ane's All The World's Aircraft," An Osprey author since 1988, Jon is presently the Defence Editor of "Flight Daily News," The author lives in Oxford, UK.
Chris Davey has illustrated more than 20 titles for Osprey's "Aircraft of the Aces," "Combat Aircraft" and "Aviation Elite Units" series since 1994.
