About the Author
Patrick Whitefield (1949-2015) was one of the UK's leading permaculture experts. He was a teacher, writer, designer, and consulting editor for Permaculture Magazine, and the author of the mini-classic Permaculture in a Nutshell, which has been translated into four languages, as well as The Earth Care Manual, How to Read the Landscape, and How To Make a Forest Garden.



Glennie Kindred is the author of nine books on Earth wisdom, native plants and trees, and celebrating the Earth's cycles. She is a highly respected teacher and much-loved expert on natural lore and Earth traditions. She has a strong and committed following and enjoys sharing her insights and teachings through a wide selection of popular workshops and talks, inspiring us to create relationship with the natural world around us, especially with our native trees and plants. Glennie lives in Derbyshire, UK.
