About the Author
Roger Kirkwood B.Sc. has been to the Antarctic numerous times on research expeditions as well as lecturing on at least 15 Antarctic tourist cruises. He has contributed to many research papers and currently works as a biologist on Philip Island Nature Park in Victoria.
