Description

Based on the real-life occurrence of The Great Pacific Garbage Patch, an island of floating trash in a remote area of the Northern Pacific Ocean more than twice the size of Texas, I'm Not a Plastic Bag tells a moving story about loneliness, beauty, and humankind’s connection to our planet.

Created in partnership with Jeff Corwin Connect and the Ocean Conservancy, I’m Not a Plastic Bag features a foreword from Emmy-winning television host, author, and biologist, Jeff Corwin, as well as ten pages of insightful, educational material focused on the issues of pollution and ocean conservancy.

Printed on recycled materials and produced in conjunction with American Forests and the Global ReLeaf programs, Archaia Entertainment will plant two trees for each tree used in the manufacturing of this book. Global ReLeaf is an international campaign by American Forests, the nation’s oldest nonprofit conservation organization and a world leader in planting trees for environmental restoration.
