Kafein is a great little coffee shop that has a really cute and original decor inside. It has several classic paintings with coffee included in it. The shakes are great and they have open mic nights on Monday nights. It's very cozy and a fun place to get some coffee or some tasty desserts.

Our coffee is roasted by Espresso Vivace, and we serve hand-crafted baked goods from Sisters Baking Company, as well as homemade soup and yummy burritos for lunch. The Cupcake Cafe has arguably the best espresso in NYC, and super-fresh cake doughnuts that are barely sweet but unbelievably delicious. It's right behind Port Authority, so the view isn't the best, but the huge marble slab of a front table and the other smaller configurations of chairs are all very welcoming, and it's worth the detour westward to get a truly great Americano.
