I've discovered that making flight reservations online isn't always the best way to go. It can be pretty time-consuming, and by the time I sort through all the results and decide on the flight you want, half the time it's not available anymore. Since I'm a freelancer and get paid by the hour, I'd rather not spend a lot of time making travel arrangements. Added to that, I'd read that the travel websites don't always show all the available flights, whereas a travel agent will be able to. So a few years ago when I had to book a flight, I decided to give a good old-fashioned agency a try and called one in my neighborhood, which happened to be Baker Travel.

I'm glad I did. Baker took care of the arrangements for me with much less time and effort on my part compared to the time I had spent online doing an initial search. Plus, they found me a direct flight (to San Francisco), which I hadn't been able to find online, at a reasonable fare. Paying the small service fee to have them book it was well worth it to me. The people at Baker are friendly, helpful, and efficient.
