Born and raised in LaSalle, Colorado, 4 years in the US Navy, BS degree in Marketing, 36 years in business. My wife (Ronni) and I have lived in Arizona for 16 years.

I am a copy editor at the St. Petersburg times, and was formerly a copy editor at the Miami Herald and the South Florida Sun Sentinel. Before that, I counseled at-risk high school students and worked as a mental health technician on a psychiatric ward at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, experiences that inform my writing to this day. I have published two crime fiction novels. Raised in Belize City, Central America I chose to set my first novel, In the Heat, there. I am a mom, wife, self published writer, and an Air Force veteran. I have written and published 2 children's picture books, 1 general fiction book, and 1 young adult novel (1 in a 7 book series). I've been reviewed by the American Author's Association and received not one but two Silver Quill awards from them for my first picture book, 'Gasgeil's Bravery'. I enjoy any creative project that sets the wheels churning in my head.

Author - my debut novel, Freezer Burn, has just been published by Echelon Press. It's a mystery, about a housecleaner-turned-detective who goes to a client's house to help clean out his freezer and finds a severed hand inside. As they say, mayhem ensues. It's getting good reviews already as a smart, fun read.
