I am a retired teacher and elementary school administrator from Milwaukee's central city. My wife and I moved to River Falls, Wisconsin in 2005 in order to be near our children.

During these past several years I have had the opportunity to engage in a number of activities including wallowing in the joys of grandparenthood and traveling with my wife to a number of places we had always wished to visit.

I founded popular literary blog, Novel Journey (www.noveljourney.blogspot.com) in 2005. We post daily interviews with some of the world's greatest novelists, writers and book industry professionals. We've featured everyone from Nicholas Sparks to Pulitzer winning Geraldine Brooks. As for me, my first novel, CROSSING OCEANS (think Terms of Endearment) releases with Tyndale publishers, spring 2010. After nearly five years of promoting other great fiction. I'm thrilled to be doing a little of it for myself. I'm truly blessed!

I love people and travel, serving as a missionary in Eastern Europe for 10 years during the decade of the 1990s. I grew up in Maryland, now live in California, and am in the process of moving to North Carolina. My first book, "We Wait You: Waiting on God in Eastern Europe" is the real-life story of hearts transformed after the 1989 revolutions that forever changed Eastern Europe. I've also contributed to a Chicken Soup book and had 15 articles published. I'm married and have two adult stepchildren and one baby granddaughter. I am now working with my wife Caroline Boudreaux to publish some authentic Cajun cook books. She has already written "Cajun Comfort Food" and is working on another.

We are now retired and like to travel. We will do book signings at local bookstores if invited.
