Make a list of the books you want and we’ll send it to your family and friends. Or make a list of shopping you need to do! Either way, you’ll be supporting independents and spreading the word. Do your part and make an independent choice. Learn more about how to create a Wish List here.

Check the Map.

Search the Indie Store Finder map for businesses close to you. You can always click the "FIND AN INDIE STORE" button at right.

Click the "more info" link to visit a store's Profile Page.

Then:

* Become a fan of your favorite businesses by clicking on the "Become a Fan" link at the bottom of the store's profile.

* Add a review of a store you love.

* Add store pictures, hours and more by clicking "Update Store Info."

Add a Store.

Add your favorite Indie retailers to the IndieBound.org database—so everyone can shop indie everywhere they go!

Just click on Add a Store on the top bar at any time to get started!

Your new store should appear on the Indie Store Finder map immediately.

Check up on stores you've added with the "Stores I've Added" button on your profile page.

Spread the Word.

Invite friends, neighbors, and other indie fans (and those who should be!) to join and contribute their favorite stores.

Use our banners, blinkies, and icons to spread indie awareness across the web.
