Stop for Books
My family also hits Allegory whenever we're in the area (every summer--several times a summer if you count extended family)!
There's the atmosphere and the owner's gorgeous dogs, but the chief draw here is her excellent choices in buying.
Allegory is a must-visit indie store!
My favorite bookstore
For years, my husband and I have stopped at Allegory Books & Music (my all-time favorite bookstore) whenever we vacation at the Oregon Coast. They always have a wonderful selection of books, many of which have been featured by Book Sense. They also have a nice children's section, so I am able to buy a few books for my kids to enjoy, too.
If you vacation at the coast, be sure to check out this bookstore. You'll be glad you did!
