This downtown handmade chocolate and cupcake sensation came to life when author Steve Almond visited for his book Candyfreak. Laura Caron, Baby Cakes founder, was so inspired she turned that Rainy Day Books author event into the debut for her chocolate line, Frou Frou Chocolates. WIthin a year she'd added the city's best cupcakes, using locally-produced Shatto butter and milk as ingredients. The sweet life!
