My new friends at Bay Books
I'm David Lucero and I'm glad to be a part of the Indie Bound Community.
As I continue to promote my book THE SANDMAN I find getting into large corporate stores is next to impossible. When I walked into Bay Books I met the manager and employees and had a very nice meeting with them. Their bookstore is beautiful and has books for everyone. When they scheduled me for a Meet the Author Event this June 5 in tribute to WWII Veterans and Active-Serving men and women in all branches of our Armed Forces I could not have been happier. They are a perfect example of why we need to support independent businesses and not get drawn up in the corporate world.
