In addition, we have postcards, prints, & engravings. MY BACKGROUND: My name is JOSEPH BLOCK. My interest in books dates back to my early childhood when I discovered the library & its ambiance. I was like Joseph in Wonderland. The librarians were attune to the needs of children & were there for them. Books were my passion from then on. My other passions are music(all kinds), dancing, & cinema. The Montreal World Film Festival is the highlight of my cinematic year. I started in the business as a "scout" in the late 1970s in order to supplement my income and to reduce my accumulation of books.I had no problem finding a name for my bookstore. I'm a true bibliomaniac & bibliophile.
