The Community Bicycle Shop serves Rainier Valley neighbors from all walks of life with affordable bicycle sales and professional repairs. Our goal is to get more people riding bikes: to the grocery store, to work, and just for fun. We sell a wide variety of used bikes, from cruisers to kids bikes to mountain bikes.
We have over 100 used bikes in stock at any given time; you can buy bikes fully refurbished, and our prices are great! We also have a huge selection of used parts and merchandise, as well as new stock. Looking for unique parts? Start here.
Our professional shop mechanics can repair your bike for a great price (Earn-a-Bike students do not work on customer bikes). Consider a winter tune-up to avoid the summer rush! Shop proceeds provide more than half our annual budget and helps to fund our youth programs. So spend your dollars at Bike Works, it's good for everyone!

Bike Works has been working for kids, bikes, and community in the Rainier Valley since 1996. Our programs invest in young people and encourage bicycling as a clean and healthy transportation alternative.
Our mission:
To build sustainable communities by educating youth and promoting bicycling. We teach young people how to fix bikes, reward them with their own set of wheels, and provide affordable bicycle services to the community.
Earn-A-Bike:
In our core program, Earn-a-Bike, kids learn all about bike repair over eight classes. Then during "Earn-a-Bike time" outside of class, they practice their repair skills on donated bikes, working their way towards their own recycled cycle to take home.
Bikes to Ghana:
We are presently accepting donations! We accept adult bikes, kids bikes, and cool old bikes year-round.
The Bike Works Shop:
Our shop serves Seattle residents from all walks of life with used bike sales and affordable repairs. Our professional mechanics can fix your bike, and we have a great selection used bikes and all kinds of used bike parts and gear.
