Thanks for taking Cheryl Kerr's book!

Just wanted to say thank you for grabbing up some copies of Cheryl Kerr's See Ya. I love how we all work together.

My favorite in Austin

To be honest, Austin's selection of quality bookstores is really small. BookPeople is my hands down favorite in the area. From great in-store guests (Jami Attenberg and Eugene Mirman!) to a solid selection and genuinely helpful employees, I almost never leave BookPeople empty handed. Plus they have a nice selection of Moleskine notebooks - one of my only regular non-book bookstore purchases!

Release Party

This is what a book store is suppose to be. We held our book release party here last year and the staff was wonderful. They carry more than just the standard best sellers, so there is something for everyone and a lot of extras too.

Keep Austin Weird

I've never been to the store, but I've read good things about it. It is on my list of bookstores to visit!

How can we move New York closer to Austin?

Just have to say that the "This is my Favorite Book 2008" catalog is one of the coolest things I've ever seen come out of a bookstore, which makes it one of the coolest things I've ever seen, period. BookPeople gots style!
