We’re an independent, family-owned book store in the heart of West Virginia’s Appalachian mountains. Specializing in regional titles, we also carry a wide variety of contemporary books, used books, RPG- and card-gaming supplies, toys, and resources for teachers and educators. We fill special orders at no charge, and give particular attention to customer requests. In affiliation with the Upshur County Wholesale Buying Club, we have a small selection of all-natural foods, cleaning supplies, and supplements. We also host a variety of musical and literary events (most notoriously our weekly Friday Night Trainwreck, an open bluegrass, country, and old-time jam!).
