I'm David Lucero and I'm glad to be a part of the Indie Bound Community.
I walked into The Book Works today because a friend suggested I get my book THE SANDMAN in there to be displayed for sale. When I walked into the store I was amazed by what I saw. Their old-fashioned wooden floor that creaked with each step, the beautifully stacked shelves of books, and friendly staff only added to the wonderful experience for customers and authors seeking to display our books. I met the manager and she allowed me to display my book on the spot. It's not only the opportunity independent bookstores like The Book Works offer, but their down-to-earth home feel of their store makes me glad to be a customer and author in their home.
