Bookman's Alley is one of the most interesting bookstores I have ever visited, a browser's paradise! It really is off the back alley, by the way. A wide variety of out of print books as well as other printed materials. Lots of seating! Decorated with a multitude of collected stuff.
Specialties: fine used books

This bookstore is really a blast from the past and like walking back in time. I love the huge selection of historical/older books that they have. My favorite thing I came across was a review of Edgar Allen Poe that was type written, and had a hand drawn image of Edgar Allen Poe on it. This really is in the alley so you kinda have to hunt for it, but it is a great place for finding older books.
