Our goal is to create a community center in Virginia Beach for both readers and writers, and to partner with the surrounding schools and centers to promote literacy and creative expression.

The front half of the center is a bookstore, specializing in used books and featuring new works by independent and newly published authors. It will also be a location to comfortably host signings, book launches and readings.

In the back half, we have a space dedicated to classes and seminars focused on all types of writing, taught by local authors, editors and agents. It will be filled with a variety of reference tools and resources for writers and students. When there are no classes, the room will be available for writers to use as a sanctuary for their creative spirit while they work at mastering their craft.
