I love Santa Fe, for its arts, culture, scenery, and this store has some of the best 'coffee' books (art, design, etc) around. Other subjects i.e. fiction, history and the like are represented as well but only the best from the current year's titles. You can also expect to find a few gems. Garcia St also has a few rare/collectible books which i find fascinating. It's a smaller shop but packed with good books. Next door is a great shop (Photoeye) specializing in the photographic arts, and a magazine/coffee shop on the other side. Parking is tight (less than 20 spaces for all three shops), but it is a short-medium walk from the center of town.
Be careful - streets are narrow all over Santa Fe's old town and residential areas, sometimes a little wider than a car, and lots of people about.
