"We run an independent bookshop in the beautiful Western Massachusetts town of Southampton. We’re located in a fabulous brick building on the primary thoroughfare through town, also known as Route 10. It was originally constructed in 1904 as the town library, with exterior white columns and interior oak columns and other interesting architectural features. A perfect place for lots of books.
We sell mostly used books, a smattering of new and an increasing quantity of ephemera. Come browse and you’ll find books for just about every interest and age. We have paperbacks and collectible editions and everything in between. For a perusal of our current stock you can have a look at our website: http://www.heritagebks.com. We always have many, many boxes waiting to be unpacked so we’re continuously adding more."
Surrounded by all the great reading material at Heritage Books is a vintage model ferris wheel and circus wagons which you can't miss in their custom oak case just as you walk through the huge front doors. Its a little bit of a history museum within a bookstore. The owner found these pieces several years ago and had them professionally restored. The ferris wheel is motorized and runs too!
