Friendly and Helpful Booksellers

I really love Katy Budget Books. It's a lovely store and the booksellers are friendly and helpful. The personalized recommendations are fantastic. If you live in the greater Houston metro area, make plans to visit Katy Budget Books. You'll love the ambience, the selection, and the wonderful folks who run the store.

A Teacher's Best Friend

My family has been visiting this landmark in my suburban community for nearly two decades. My mom and I would troll the tightly packed quarters of the store's original location, and relished the new freestanding building's size and massive collection. The bookstore's used book credit policy makes it a teacher's mecca. In addition, the store regularly provides donated used book credits to teachers. This generous policy allows teachers to grow their classroom libraries without breaking their personal banks. My boys have enjoyed the read aloud time this summer, too. Books, crafts and even a snack are wrapped up in one action packed hour every week. Though I've not ventured to it (yet), KBB hosts a poetry reading session every month. And who could forget their bi-annual sale? Readers can snatch up bargains as low as 25 cents. KBB is a must see!
