Small storefront, huge operation!

May Wah sells some of the most amazing meat substitutes you will ever eat! A must for *any* food lover, not just vegans and vegetarians. It's more than worth a visit in person, but you can stock up online, too. Hope you like dry ice!

Fascinating!

So, is this a store and not a restaurant (which is what I always assumed)?

Retail ahoy

Yep, it's a retail shop. There are a lot of great vegetarian/vegan restaurants in Chinatown (Vegetarian Dim Sum House is probably my favorite so far) but this place is more of a supplier. Their shopfront is pretty tiny but they have a huge array of vegan meat alternatives, including a fake salmon, complete with skin, which I was curious enough to buy but not yet brave enough to cook!
