"Rocket to Mars is just good, clean, archetypal vintage. Atomic-era relics and childhood memories in plastic, lucite and needlepoint. Seems to me the approach to vintage has changed in the last few years. Yesterday's need to do your whole house in the Truman or Kennedy era has been replaced by the more measured approach of blending select bits from the '50s, '60s, '70s and '80s. When you need that just-so lamp, ashtray, or chair, rocket over to Broadway."
